Hi, I'm Tanya A. Mayers, a self-taught artist based in Lancashire, UK. I create creepy cute pop surrealism inspired by the strange, the whimsical and the beautifully unsettling — blending innocence with subtle darkness. Growing up, I was obsessed with collecting Garbage Pail Kids cards, and that early fascination with exaggerated characters and dark humour continues to influence my work today. Each piece is created using my wacom and Photoshop, I use a Wacom tablet to build depth, texture and rich colour. When I'm not creating, I'm usually with my two dogs and three tuxedo cats, watching horror films, or reading Stephen King — who I also share a birthday with. My biggest inspiration? David Lynch.
