Hi! I’m Tanya Mayers, a self-taught artist based in Lancashire, UK. I create creepy-cute pop surrealism characters inspired by the strange, the whimsical, and the beautifully unsettling—blending cuteness with a touch of dark humor.

My love for exaggerated, quirky characters started early with a childhood obsession for Garbage Pail Kids, I collected all the cards. Today, I love bringing those ideas to life using my Wacom tablet and Photoshop,

My biggest inspirations are Stephen King and David Lynch.

When I'm not creating art I love nothing more than relaxing with my two dogs and three cats. I’m a massive fan of all things gothic, mysterious, and weird—you’ll usually find me binging gothic supernatural series, reading Stephen King (fun fact: we share a birthday!), or rewatching my absolute favorite show of all time, Twin Peaks.
